Ann Dunbar: Where-Wear

Ann Dunbar

WHERE-WEAR: NEW WORK BY ANN DUNBAR

     Opening Reception: January 31, 2015, 5:00 to 8:00pm
     Through April 30, 2015

Dunbar's artwork has evolved around common items relating to women's lives
and the memories they evoke.  Her current work speaks through the voice
of clothing. She uses paper and aluminum screening to create ephemeral dresses
for this show. She also uses the media of reverse painted glass,  combining images
of dresses with a contemporary spin on that traditional art form.

In conjunction with Middlescapes Exhibition, also at April Price Projects Gallery,
and On The Map: Unfolding Albuquerque Art & Design.

  1. While much of Thomas Kinkade's worldwide acclaim stemmed from his well-crafted use of chiaroscuro – the use of strong contrasts between light and dark – Kinkade was an artist whose talents spanned many genres and artistic styles.
