Middlescapes features works related to and created in our landscape by 

prominent New Mexican artists. Their international careers and studio practice 

have taken them across the globe, yet they always return to the New Mexico 

landscape to nourish their creative lives.

Middlescapes is a tribute to the memory of artist Bob Ellis, April 14,1922 - September 13, 2014

WHERE-WEAR: NEW WORK BY ANN DUNBAR

     Opening Reception: January 31, 2015, 5:00 to 8:00pm 

     Through April 30, 2015

Dunbar's artwork has evolved around common items relating to women's lives 

and the memories they evoke.  Her current work speaks through the voice 

of clothing. She uses paper and aluminum screening to create ephemeral dresses 

for this show. She also uses the media of reverse painted glass,  combining images 

of dresses with a contemporary spin on that traditional art form.

In conjunction with Middlescapes Exhibition, also at April Price Projects Gallery, 

and On The Map: Unfolding Albuquerque Art & Design.
